Golf in the Highlands

As Scotland is the home of golf, it is unsurprising that you will find an abundance of golf courses to play in every region in the country. This is also the case in The Highlands of Scotland. Here you will find both superb inland courses as well as challenging links golf. Castle Stuart Golf Links is the course that currently hosts the Scottish Open, the main warm up event for the British Open. After many years at Loch Lomond, the event has relocated to the Highlands and now demonstrates the spectacular scenery of the North of Scotland to thousands of visitors each year. Our local golf course is found at Newtonmore Golf Club and this inland course has welcomed players for more than 100 years.
